The next time you’re in London stay on the wild side. In Gir Lion Lodge, part of ZSL London Zoo’s newest and most breath-taking exhibit – Land of the Lions.
Land of the Lions recreates an Indian setting for the Asiatic lions and transports you from the heart of London to India’s vibrant Sasan Gir. It has three walkways with thrilling, immersive Indian-themed areas waiting to be to explored, including a train station, crumbling temple clearing, high street and guard hut.
Big cat lovers can embark on an interactive Indian adventure, helping ZSL ‘forest rangers’ deal with a ‘lion-emergency’ in the Gir Forest, and lend a hand to the veterinary team who come to the rescue.
Gir Lion Lodge is hidden away within ZSL London Zoo’s Land of the Lions within roaring distance of the lions. You spend the night in one of nine beautifully decorated lodges inspired by the welcoming charm of hotels in the lion’s native Gir Forest home in India.In addition to the bespoke, luxury accommodation, you enjoy a delicious 2-course dinner and full-English breakfast. Entry into the zoo on both days and exclusive tours led by ZSL’s passionate and knowledge hosts, are also included in the experience.
