Cafe Royal on Regent Street Becomes a Hotel this Summer

About the experience

The historic Café Royal on Regent Street is reopening this summer as a luxury hotel. Established in 1865, the cafe has had W B Yeats, George Bernard Shaw, Paul Verlaine and Oscar Wilde as regulars.

The 159 room hotel will occupy the entire southern Quadrant block of Regent Street, overlooking Piccadilly Circus. Once ready, the hotel will feature the restored Grill Room restaurant (previously frequented by the likes of Oscar Wilde, Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill and Princess Diana) and spa facilities including an indoor pool.

A bit about the spa facilities – Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Center will also include a cutting-edge gym, yoga studio and an organic bar for the complete wellness experience.

The VIP Suites include one beneath the copper dome at the apex of Piccadilly Circus and Glasshouse Street, with views of Big Ben and St James’s Park.

To be amongst the action on Regent Street in London this summer onwards, all you need to do is call Lighthouse on (0) 9818905024 or email theworld@golighthouse.in.
