Lighthouse

Summer Destinations for 2016

About the experience

Summer is upon us and time to decide where to go for the summer break. As usual, Lighthouse is there with options.

First up is Mie Prefecture in Japan only 4-hours away from Tokyo. Home to the real Ninja and the famed women deep sea divers. The Ise-Jingu shrine takes you back 400 years and the Suzuka circuit is a modern day temple of motor sports.

At the other end of the world are the Ibera wetlands in Argentina, the 2nd largest in the world. Just the place for nature lovers in general with an activity list that’s endless.

The Okanagan Valley in Canada has sandy beaches and a variety of outdoor activities. The Okanagan Lake provides a spectacular backdrop to the golf courses and the region’s wineries are the new “go to” wine destination.

Aarhus, the youngest city in Denmark, has a hot and happening gastronomic scene. With three Michelin star restaurants offering technically advanced Nordic cooking.

Think Africa and think Zimbabwe. Wildlife, natural wonders, history. Just take your pick and see it come alive in this quiet corner of Africa.

As usual, there’s a lot more and we’re just a call or email away!

Make this experience yours…

You are now thinking, “Fun and interesting is fine, but how are these folks different?” Well, difference is just what it means: a different take on a destination, a different holiday idea, a different hotel suggestion, a different way around.
