On the Whisky Trail

About the experience

Serious about whisky? Then hit the Whisky Trail with us.

Apart from Scotch, there are Japanese, Irish, American and Canadian whiskies. Not to forget the lesser known Swedish, Danish, Welsh and the Australian ones.

Travel to the five whisky areas of Highland, Lowland, Islay, Speyside and Campbeltown in Scotland to discover the secret behind the smoky flavour of what we call Scotch.

Understand the making of the cereal grain whiskies of the USA. Okay, they spell it ‘whiskey’, but the difference may lie in the ageing in charred oak barrels. Except for corn whisky, of course.

Across the border, in Canada, find out what sets Canadian whisky apart from its American neighbour. And, in Japan, savour the close links between Scotch and Japanese whiskies in the ten distilleries there.

However, if there is some other beverage or cuisine or interest that takes your fancy, just give us a shout. We’ll serve something special for you too.
