Barracuda Point on Sipadan Island in Malaysia is another possibility. It’s quite an experience to see the thousands-strong
schools of barracuda that shape themselves into a vortex large enough to block light from the sun.

Head to Bora Bora for the dwindling lemon sharks. They are named after their yellowish-brown colour and are not generally considered a threat to humans. But, don’t go by what we say and do take adequate precautions.

Diving off Papa New Guinea has the added advantage of sunken World War II wrecks apart from the variety of marine life and the saltwater crocodile in particular.
