You fly across Lake Wanaka and into the heart of the Southern Alps before you get your first view of Minaret Station. Located at 7,000 feet, the staggering beauty of New Zealand\u2019s remote mountain wilderness greets you from all sides. You\u2019re in The Lord of the Rings country with nothing but 65,000 acres of mountain peaks, grass valleys and native bush\u2014perfect for a spot of deer hunting or heli-skiing.<\/p>

Minaret Station treats those fortunate enough to experience its wilderness landscape, to a level of comfort and style never before available in the New Zealand mountains. Guests are hosted under canvas in luxuriously furnished tented suites complete with wall to wall sheepskin carpet, king beds, a private deck set with its own hot tub, full en-suite with double vanity and endless hot showers.<\/p>

In adiition to all the luxury there\u2019s a lot to do out in the wilderness. You can meander down to the waterfall or for the adventurous climber, advanced alpine climbing options are available including rocking climbing.<\/p>

The mountains that surround the lodge are home to many wild game animals and you can spend half a day, an hour or a week
stalking animals like the majestic Red Stag challenging an adversary.<\/p>
